AJ2 3" x 0.135R is also used for framing. This nail will replace the standard 16d common nail. 

The AJ2 3" x 0.135R nail is type of nail commonly used in framing applications or any wood to wood applications. When it says it, "replaces the following 16d Common, it means it." See ICC report # ESR-5210.
